At Greener Pastures we strive to create a "win-win" situation for our Standardbreds and place them in forever homes.

Happy horses and happy humans is our goal.

In order to assist us we ask that potential adopters complete and submit the Application to Adopt. Once approved an appointment is scheduled for you to meet some of the suitable candidates.

Once your new equine partner is chosen the contract is signed and completed. Adoption fee is paid at this time. There is a 30 day trial period to ensure a perfect match. If the horse is to be returned there are two options- receive a refund less $100.00 handling fee or try another horse.

As our horses are fairly green to being riding horses, each adopter will receive an owners manual as well as continued support and encouragement. It is highly recommended that a trainer be hired to train or assist you in working with your new partner.

Both the donators and we at Greener Pastures LOVE to get pictures and updates on our horses in their new lives! These will be posted on our photo gallery for all to enjoy.
